The Delany Archive Trust was established in 2007 to care for the archival collections of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, Brigidine Sisters, Patrician Brothers and Carlow College, St Patrick’s. St Patrick’s Missionary Society is in the process of joining the Trust. Our Mission, Vision and Values Statement is available here.
The Delany Archive Trust is a registered charity regulated by the Charities Regulator. The Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees, comprising members nominated by each partner. The charity trustees and the partners they represent are:
| Monsignor Brendan Byrne Monsignor John McEvoy | Diocese of Kildare & Leighlin |
| Sr Paula Conway Sr Theresa Kilmurray | Brigidine Sisters |
| Mr Christopher McQuinn Br Camillus Regan | Patrician Brothers |
| Dr Thomas McGrath Fr Conn Ó Maoldhomhnaigh | Carlow College, St Patrick’s |

The Delany Archive is based at Carlow College, St Patrick’s. It is named in honour of Dr Daniel Delany (1747-1814) who has a link to each partner as he was variously Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, co-founder of Carlow College, St Patrick’s, and founder of both the Brigidine Sisters and Patrician Brothers.
